All eyes are on you and expectations are high. You’ve made promises to the board, shareholders, collaborators, and employees. Now it’s time to deliver. To be effective, you need maximum clarity. But you’re certain that uncertainty will persist. Now what?

Leadership involves a constant change process, and it evolves on a continuum. Just when you get comfortable, a situation will change and demand something more, something different from you. But to move others, you must first move yourself. Do you have a vision of what is next for you? Are you moving toward an expanded role? Or just a more effective version of you as a leader? Wherever you are on the continuum, you can always draw freely on your essential resources: insight, self-awareness, and experience.

Working one-on-one in a confidential setting, our approach means that:

  • We collaborate:
In our initial meetings, we’ll set goals and agree on the best approach for your three- or six-month engagement.
  • We explore:
Leadership assessments, including 360 feedback, offer a data-driven way to pinpoint strengths and areas for focused development. But you may prefer a different jumping-off point. Perhaps you have a big idea you want to translate into a compelling vision; or you want to motivate people in the face of uncertainty. Or maybe you are struggling to provide focus or ensure accountability on the path to achieving your vision. We begin at your starting line.
  • We focus:
By identifying actions and experiments, you’ll gain traction toward your goals. This could be as large as developing an action plan for a big project, as simple as drafting a schedule for how you’d like to spend your time and energy day to day, or as internally focused as creating and maintaining practices that enable you to become your best self as a leader.
  • We stay in touch:
Beyond our engagement, we’ll check in informally for as long as you need.

Assessing development needs is an important piece of meaningful leadership. Using interviews and validated inventories, we uncover insight about behaviors that are contributing to and detracting from your leadership success. Through confidential one-on-one conversations, we will debrief the assessment results, encourage insights, and identify development goals. Then we will create a development plan that includes goals, activities, time frames, and measures of success.
